Two major milestones today for Spencer. First, we ate dinner out at Hido this evening WITH Spencer. He seemed to quiet down a bit after some cluster feeding in the late afternoon so we decided to chance it. The folks we shared the hibachi table with thought he was adorable, and I'm sure they were also pleased that he stayed quietly asleep for the entire meal. He needed a bottle on the ride home, but we are thrilled and consider our first outing a complete success. (No guarantee that will be duplicated any time soon, but tonight was very pleasant for everyone.)

Second milestone occurred when we returned home and noticed that Spencer's umbilical cord FINALLY fell off.
